Mid-Century Modern Architecture Exhibit

Naperville's Mid-Century Modern Architecture was celebrated at North Central College's Schoenherr Gallery from August 22 through December 9, 2022. A self-guided walking tour of campus Mid-Century buildings was available.

The Grand Opening Reception was held Saturday, August 27 with free trolley tours of Mid-Century Architecture in Naperville and remarks from North Central College and its partnership organizations for the exhibit (Naper Settlement and Naperville Preservation).

Thursday, September 15 at 6:30pm, Blair Kamin (longtime Chicago Architecture critic) and Lindsay E. Shannnon (Associate Professor of Art History) discussed architecture, equity, and historic preservation. The conversation was held in NCC's Madden Theatre (171 E Chicago Ave, Naperville).
