Naperville author and historian Bryan J. Ogg explored how ancient Greece found a home in the built environment of early Naperville and the individuals who shaped community history. He showed how Naperville is a time capsule of some of the earliest examples of America's first architects. (The Greek Revival style of architecture (1820-1860) is considered by some to be a uniquely American phenomenon, though examples of this style are found in many other countries.)
